Burlington Alignment Service

Driving in a vehicle without proper alignment is irresponsible and dangerous.  A car that is out of alignment can pull or drift away from a straight road, resulting in a possibly fatal situation.  Not only does flawed alignment decrease gas mileage and tire life, it also adds stress to other vehicle components, including steering equipment and overall structural damage.  That’s why it’s imperative to let our alignment experts ensure you’re driving smoothly and safely.

A properly aligned vehicle can protect you and save you money in tire replacement and suspension repairs.  We recommend having your vehicle’s alignment checked annually.

What type of alignment?

There are two kinds of alignments available, based on your vehicle’s construction:

  • Two-wheel alignments are for vehicles with non-adjustable rear suspension. We determine the vehicle's thrust line and adjust the front wheels to be in specification with the rear thrust line. The result is all four wheels parallel with the steering wheel, perfectly centered.
  • Four-wheel alignments are for vehicles with adjustable rear suspension. We adjust all wheels to the vehicle’s geometric centerline. Again, all wheels are parallel with the steering wheel centered.

Key alignment services include: Steering and suspension for worn components.  Tire condition, size and pressure.  We also look at ride height for weak or broken springs and suspension for collision damage.

Kew’s Automotive technicians perform alignments using state-of-the-art equipment.  Worn steering and suspension components can cause noise, vibration, steering wheel off center and pulls.  That is why we perform a complete steering and suspension inspection with every alignment.
